This is a mossberg 835, which is a mossberg 500 that is made my by mossberg to shoot 3 1/2inch shells. Any 12 guage shell no matter the size will fit, function and fire out of this shotgun. It's been a great feild gun and it shows with minor surface rust on the barrel (check the pics).
