This is a Smith and Wesson Model 36 no dash, with original box and papers. The serial number dates it to the 1971-1972 timeframe. It's chambered in .38 Special and has a 2" barrel — the iconic "Chief's Special". It's in very good condition, just some wear in the bluing around the muzzle. Makes a great collector's item at a reasonable price, and it's also still in perfect working order. If you want to get into collecting these classic pieces, this is a great gun to do it with.
